Always be true
This is a rhythmic little piece that doesn't have a picture kind of wrote itself
Tired of the race for perfectionist creation The anger and the hate and the balled up frustration Weeping like a scab, picked all across the nation It feels like it's real, but it's just a simulation
Stay close to the force that's gonna open you up Ignore the closing doors and the stores that stay shut Ignore the screaming voices who keep telling you “No!” Who screw up their little eyes, and never let go They can only see the world as good or not Keeping poor people poor and take away what they got
The answer in the end always is and was To embrace what's to become, and that's because It's the oldest souls that still have the voice To whisper that with life, we all have a choice To love what's inside, this thing that we made To follow our call, shine light where there's shade
So many choices that always return All the old lessons that refuse to be learned And inside every puzzle that you get presented Is feeding what you're needing! That can't be resented So, love all the things that challenge you to Open your heart and always be true
